ABOUT DOCTORS CUEVAS, SIMONS & LUGOS

Drs. Juana Cuevas, Lissette Lugo, and Monica Simons are building their first practice, Every Woman Wellness, each holding over 10 years experience in the field. With a grand vision of what women’s health care should be, these doctors share their unique journeys as Latina women excelling in the medical field and their leap to join the startup economy.

Juana L. Cuevas, MD, practices obstetrics and gynecology.  Dr. Cuevasreceived her medical education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Yeshiva University and completed her residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center.  Lissette Lugo, MD, is an attending anesthesiologist and instructor, specializing in obstetric anesthesiology and women’s health. Dr. Lugo is a graduate of the Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. She completed her Anesthesiology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell and an obstetric anesthesiology fellowship at the Brigham and Woman’s Hospital.  Monica Simons, MD, practices obstetrics and gynecology.  Dr. Simons attended medical school at the State University of New York-Buffalo School of Medicine and completed her residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
